Howdy Old Time Music Lovers,

Calling all you fabulous old time musicans out there! We're hoping
you will want to be at the Sunday Cabaret, part of the Berkeley Old
Time Music Convention taking place Sept. 15-18.

A FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY:
Saturday features the old time stringband competition and Sunday
offers an additional performance opportunity at Jupiter pub (pizza,
beer and lovely outdoor patio/stage; 2181 shattuck just south of
downtown BART). Performers in the cabaret will have a maximum of 15
minutes to strut they stuff. There will be professional sound and an
MC to move things along smoothly. The Cabaret will run from 4 - 8 pm.

PLAY AT THE CABARET?
As we are hoping to keep things fresh, the same bands that compete on
Saturday cannot perform again at the Cabaret. However, individuals
that play on Saturday may reconfigure however they want and are
welcome to perform on Sunday, space permitting. We welcome duets &
solos, as well as large ensembles. We know some of you have side
projects worthy of air-time!

Official sign-up for the Cabaret will take place Saturday at the
contest. If you really can't make it to the contest to sign up,

 and we'll try to save you a slot.

In any case, we would like to know ahead of time if you want to
participate. This is strictly to guage interest and for planning
purposes.
